Robotics involve the modelling, design, control, construction, operation and application of robots. Robotic research is interdisciplinary, and involves various fields.
Research in our Robotics group focuses on robot manipulations at both micro-scale and macro-scale with applications for manufacturing and biological/medical industries.
Our research is focused on these four themes:
Zhang, X.P. et al., 2012. Controlled aspiration and positioning of biological cells in a micropipette. IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 59(4), pp.1032–1040.
Leung, C. et al., 2012. Three-Dimensional Rotation of Mouse Embryos. IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 59(4), pp.1049–1056.
