Abstract
My passion is to develop novel AI frameworks which bring solutions for sustainable and healthy living on our planet. I have been merging my computer vision background with power of AI, for early prediction of diseases of crops as well as human tissues. I am hoping that early prediction can do a lot for prevention of worrisome situations. I love adding creativity to make the final results easy to communicate with the end-users. Therefore, I have examples of using augmented reality. In this talk, I would like to introduce you some of these AI frameworks and their usage combined with augmented reality.

Biography
I received my PhD degree in 2009, officially from the faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Istanbul. During my PhD, I have worked as a teaching assistant at University of Trento and Technical University of Munich. After my PhD degree, I continued staying in Munich. I have worked at German Aerospace Center (DLR) Earth Observation Group. During my years in Germany, I worked as a guest lecturer at several German universities. In 2012, I started to work at TUDelft. After the end of my contract, I focused on developing my own big data processing framework (farmAR app) which has been awarded by EU Commission twice, for highly supporting the sustainable development goals. Since 2017, I have been with University of Twente, at Robotics and Mechatronics group, where I develop AI and SLAM algorithms. I have also been teaching the Optimal estimation for dynamic systems course.
