Heat Transfer

Our research focuses on the use of computational methods for tackling thermo-fluid problems. The application area extends from classical thermal engineering to topics such as meteorology and bio-engineering. Depending on the desired level of cost/fidelity tradeoff, our simulation options for turbulent flows range from high-fidelity Direct Numerical Simulations (DNS) to Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) modeling.
