Meeting on allergy research in Aarhus

ENG and Health will jointly host the biannual alpha-klikke meeting on allergy research on Jan. 16, 2020 at Aarhus University, Denmark

Allergic diseases are affecting the lives of more than one billion people worldwide, and their prevalence is expected to reach up to 4 billion in 2050. The prevalence of allergic diseases and socioeconomic impact are particularly on the rise in urbanizing regions and globalizing world in association with environmental and lifestyle changes. Apart from individual suffering of patients, allergic diseases present a very high socioeconomic burden to health care systems.

The biannual meeting is focusing on active research in allergic diseases, ranging from molecular and cellular research to clinical and therapeutic applications. The mission of the meeting is to exchange and discuss scientific ideas and promote national and international collaboration in the field. The meeting has a particular focus on younger scientists. Participants are encouraged to present ongoing and future projects.

The meeting will be held from ca. 10.30 am to 4 pm. Meeting language is English.
